We celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 14, this year. Over 50 countries worldwide have a designated date on the calendar to honour Mom.

I wrote a piece for the current issue of TASTE magazine with Mother’s Day in mind – ‘Flowers and Wine Pairings for a Perfect Mother’s Day.’

When I submitted my pitch idea, I thought about what I would like for Mother’s Day and what many Moms would like: flowers and a nice bottle of wine. I paired similar aroma profiles in wines and matched them to the bouquet of certain flowers. Let’s just say I had a fun time writing this one!

I am fortunate to be a Mom to the best human being I have ever known. I am biased, of course, but for any of you who know my daughter, you know she is exceptional.
