I have had an exceptional few weeks full of birthday gatherings with family and friends, great wine and a boat load of laughter – a perfect start to my 45th year on the planet!

Today, I would like to share with you all, my article that I wrote for the Alcohol Professor. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Mr. Parra at the Vancouver International Wine Festival earlier this year where we sat down for a great conversation about terroir.

Parra is a über talented scientist, wine consultant and winemaker from Chile – speaking with him was the highlight of the VIWF for me this year.
