Hello all and happy Wednesday to you!

I trust that December is treating you well and your Christmas spirit is rising!

My family and I are in Cabo San Lucas enjoying stable 28°C sunny weather. The water in Medano Bay is a perfect and as I write this, my travelling party of six is awaiting a tour on a glass bottom out to Los Arcos.

Regarding wine and my lament of two years ago, this time and I was able to find decent Pinot Grigio from Italy and La Vieille Ferme Récolte 2014 at the local Costco.  I plan to be more adventurous in my wine buying tomorrow evening as we are doing a pasta and wine night so Andrew, Amanda, Dave and I have decided to give Mexican wine a try…I will report back!

That being said, when in Cabo, drink beer and margaritas still remains my mantra.  I have been enjoying the change of pace and not making a decision on a bottle of wine.

Yesterday, we and the Faragher’s went Stand Up Paddle boarding – even the three kids got up and paddled on their own – very impressive.  After some swimming and beach time, it was off to Salvadore’s restaurant for Amanda’s birthday celebration.  Still, one of my favourite restaurants in Cabo with excellent serve and great food.

That is it for me for this week.  Next Wednesday, I will have my ‘Top Sparkling for 2015’ list for you in time for your holiday buying.
