As a Canadian and a British Columbian, I have a tendency to keep ‘local’ with my wine choices more often than not.
However, one of the best ways to virtually travel is through a glass of wine to another region of the world. On our latest episode of Crush on This, Cindy, Allison and I select a wine from the Golden State. California is a large wine producing state with more than 600,000 acres of grape vines and 139 designated American Viticulture Areas (AVA’s).
Christine – Lake Sonoma Winery 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma County ($28 CDN)
Cindy – Cattleya 2017 ‘The Initiation’ Syrah, Santa Lucia Highlands, Monterey County ($70 USD)
Allison – Acorn Winery 2014 Acorn Hill, Alegria Vineyards, Russian River Valley ($48 USD)
Very interesting recommendations and presentations, thank you.
