Spring is here and it is officially rosé weather, don’t you think? Honestly, I am in the mood for rosé anytime but sunshine and patio parties really put me into a pink mood.
La Vida al Camp Cava Brut Rosé from Penèdes, Spain is the delicious wine I want to tell you about today. Given to me by two of my nearest and dearest friends as a birthday gift, this sparkling glass of gorgeous is something I would absolutely reach for again.
Made up of three grape varieties: Macabeo, Xarel-Lo and Trepat, this pretty Cava is refreshing with delicate, soft red fruit flavours taking the lead. Fresh strawberries from the garden, a nice floral note and a dusting of black current simply makes me smile.
At only 11.5% abv., this pretty little number will delight your guests at a brunch party or an evening get-together. This Cava is a versatile and conversation-worthy wine. Find La Vida al Camp at Liberty Wine Merchants or Everything Wine for about $30.
Enjoy!
