Hello, my lovely friends.
I apologize for not writing sooner. Life has been, well, life. I have been thinking and feeling a lot, navigating my heart and head towards a more ‘present’ frame of mind. I am just about there. Yay!
I am currently working on two articles for Vitis magazine’s Spring/Summer issue, and I realized I have not shared my Fall/Winter article with you yet.

It is all about the tough guys of the vineyard: grape hybrids and crosses. They are created for specific reasons, such as improving colour or being more resistant in the vineyard to environmental factors. Did you know that Cabernet Sauvignon is a cross?
I invite you to read more about these delicious, often overlooked heroes of the vineyard.

Great informative, educational and interesting article, thank you
Thank you!
Thank you for this Christine – very wonderful to see you back, really enjoyed your article – ah the Science of wine, now I know why I love the stuff (nectar of the Gods!). My “Go-to” white is Sauvignon Blanc but I need to do some tasting of Chardonnays to see if there is one I will like from B.C. Take care of yourself Christine, it is a long road this grieving process. Love, Valerie. XXXX
