Our latest episode pays homage to National Carménère Day, one that we should all celebrate… for a variety of reasons.

Born in Bordeaux, Carménère has found its new home in Chile. For over 200 years, this lovely variety was thought to be Merlot – talk about a case of mistaken identity! Chile boasts over 25,000 acres planted to Carménère while France has a measly 70 acres.
