Hello and merry ‘almost’ Christmas to you!

I trust that you are deep into the holiday spirit and enjoying the season.

Last night, I went for dinner at Blue Eyed Marys in West Vancouver with friends I haven’t seen for a long time.

I was the first one there so I ordered myself a glass of SOAHC Chardonnay. Having been introduced to their Riesling at Cornucopia, I was eager to try their Chardonnay and I was delighted.

It was a nice golden lemon colour and boasted good, juicy acid and good body and depth.

The flavour profile was dusted with hints of vanilla, butter, hazelnut along with fresh nectarine and peach – this is a bottle of Chardonnay that I would happily buy for $26.50.  I have included a link to where you can find SOAHC wines here.

SOAHC Estate Winery is fully biodynamic and focuses on creating excellent wine while not disturbing the earth.  Amen to that.

Short and sweet for you today.  Again, thank you for following my blog and helping me make the list of ‘Top 100 Wine Blogs of 2015’…I couldn’t do it without you!

I wish you a very Merry Christmas and I will be back with my final post for 2015 next week!

XO
