Hello #winelovers and happy Wednesday to you!
For my Canadian readers, I trust your Thanksgiving dinner was excellent and you chose great wines at the table. It was small and quiet for my little family this year and we enjoyed Le Vieux Pin ‘Ava’ 2013 and La Frenz ‘Reserve’ Chardonnay 2013 – both B.C. VQA.
For this weeks’ post, I have for you my article published today in the Alcohol Professor on an evening I spent in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. The event showcased women and wine – wine makers, growers, scientists, chefs – whom all came together to celebrate the growing culture of women in the vineyards in this cool climate region.
A huge thank you to Marti Macinski, Jenna LaVita, Liz Leidenfrost, Erica Paolicelli, Kas Deys and Heather Tompkins for your inspiration and willingness to open up about your lives…it was an honour.
Please link to the article HERE and enjoy reading. The evening was a definite highlight of my trip to New York this past August.
Enjoy the rest of the week!
