Hello wine lovers! I hope you have had a fantastic week.
It has been exactly one week since I wrote my WSET Level 3 final exam. It was intense and used every part of my brain. I believe I have started to morph into ‘normal’ mode again. Insert sigh of relief here… I had designs on going straight into my WSET Diploma level in October but am now questioning the time commitment and may hold off on this highest level until my daughter is in full-time school. I believe that I will instead go after the French Wine Scholar program (which was my original goal). Decisions, decisions! Here is a shot of my WSET wine ladies post exam:
Anyhoo – enough about me – let’s talk about wine…or rather – let me show you a few photos of the Wine Bloggers Conference up in Penticton. The city was at it best – the sun was shining, people were lovely and helpful, the white wine was chilled to perfection and the reds were, well – terrific.
As always – thank you for reading! I will be doing a series on Chardonnay as of next weeks post. I hope to convince a few of you to try a few examples of this incredibly versatile grape variety. We will see!
Enjoy!
XO

Great column, as always Christine – the Tinhorn Creek looks interesting, I will buy a bottle to try with Steve.
